This is all of my stuff. 3 months away I guess means lots of stuff.
Kristen, my older sister, is a genius and was able to use her tetris skills to fit an impossible amount into my suitcases for my trip. Kudos to her! What is more, she said she enjoyed it. She is just amazing, that is all I have to say about that.
I left for a flight going to Chicago from Salt Lake at about 8:15 am with my mom, sister Kristen, and baby nephew William. My flight wasn’t until 12pm, but I didn’t want to risk anything bad happening and having me miss my flight. Because that would just be awful. So my family humored me and we got to the airport way early.
When we got there, Mom and Kristen helped me check in. After that, I told them it was okay that they leave, they didn’t need to wait through the line for security with me. So they left, and that was when I started to get nervous I guess. I realized that I was all alone. It was not a good feeling.
When we boarded, I sat by a man who clearly did not want to talk, which was great with me because I feel safer not talking to strangers when I am all by myself.
Now I am in Chicago, waiting for my flight to Delhi. We board in about 45 minutes. I am sitting with all the people I am flying with – there are five of us going on this flight together on this Study Abroad. We are all so excited! High tension, believe me. :)
This was so exciting and nice to read! :D
ReplyDeleteThe last paragraph gave me the flashback of when i was waiting to board on my flight back home..from CA, which is nothing compared to going to India lol! XD
